Privacy by design
This portfolio uses no cookies, local storage or session storage, analytics or advertising technology, third-party embeds or external fonts. It makes no site-authored cross-origin requests. It reads only viewport size, supported media formats and reduced-motion preference to select and present local media. These browser API results are not stored. The requested local media URL can reveal the selected variant to the server. No consent banner is used because this version writes nothing to browser storage and performs no non-essential device access. If that implementation changes, consent will be obtained before any non-essential technology runs.
Server access data
When the website is delivered, the hosting provider may process technical access data such as IP address, date and time, requested file, referrer, browser, operating system and response status. Processing is necessary to deliver the website reliably, detect abuse and secure the service.
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interests in secure, stable operation). Data is accessible to the hosting provider and technical service providers acting under instruction. It is retained only for the period required for operation, security and error analysis, then deleted or anonymised unless statutory duties require longer retention.
Direct contact
If you contact us by email or telephone, we process the details you provide in order to answer your request and plan a possible production. Legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual or contractual communication and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for other professional enquiries. Enquiry data is deleted when no longer needed, subject to statutory retention obligations.
External destinations
Project, client and map links lead to third-party websites. No request is made to those services before you activate a link. The site uses a no-referrer policy, so it does not send the portfolio URL when you follow one. Once opened, the privacy terms of the relevant operator apply. YouTube and other third-party videos are not embedded on this site.
Your rights
Subject to the legal requirements, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent at any time where consent applies.
You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority. The competent authority in Berlin is the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, Alt-Moabit 59–61, 10555 Berlin, mailbox@datenschutz-berlin.de.
Security and changes
This site is delivered over HTTPS and sends restrictive security and privacy headers. We may update this notice when the website, service providers or legal requirements change.
